2 Birthdays and an Anniversary

It's been 2 months since I've even looked at this thing.
Ooops.

Here is a quick update on our lives...

April 13th, Travis had a birthday

We did a quick hike at Bridal Veil Falls.

Travs' requested birthday dinner: Stuffed Peppers :]

I just love surprise parties.
And boy was he surprised
Here are some pictures of the best part...

THE DESSERT!

May 4th, Happy 1st Anniversary to us!
What a great 1st year we've had.
The country song that says, "and I thought I loved you then." Couldn't have said it any better :]
Sappy romance, love it.

I surprised Trav with a weekend trip to Salt Lake. We arrived at about 2am and totally passed out.
The next morning I woke up early to surprise Trav with breakfast in bed.
Special breakfast in bed on our anniversary is now a tradition.
The day after we were married I snuck out of the hotel, while Trav was still sleeping, to try and find something for breakfast. After about 1 hour of looking for something, I stumbled upon Raising Canes, a chicken finger fast food place, and went with it. It was one of the worst breakfasts.
This years surprise was a very small bowl of oatmeal and mango juice.
Other fun adventures were; a trip to the SLC temple, Cheesecake Factory, Blue Lemon, GOURMANDISE (the best bakery in town), and of course shopping at City Creek.

Loved eating the top tier of our wedding cake.
Thank you whomever started that.
Our cake was still super good!
Just a little freezer burnt.

But good!

May 12th I turned the big 2-1!
We got to spend it in Vegas :]
No other place I'd rather be on my favorite day of the year!

John (my Dad) spoiled us with some yummy food.
Here is just a little taste of the deliciousness.

Deeeeee-lish Chilean Sea Bass for Mother's Day

My mom, sister and I enjoyed a shopping day and topped it off with
meeting my Dad for dinner at Sammy's Pizza
Messy Sunday, always a must.

I loved sharing my birthday with Mother's Day.
If it wasn't for this amazing lady, I wouldn't be here!
If only I could be half the woman you are, Mom.
But no, really.

Isn't she b-e-a-utiful?

Little did our Momma know what we had in store for her on the evening of Mother's Day.
We surprised her with a special Smokey Robinson Concert!!!
Preformed by yours truly; Alex, Travis, Kinzy and John.
It was a hoot! Especially Trav with his shirt off, back up dancing. (NOT pictured)
I sure did pick a good one!

My mom wore that pink costume when she was a teenager!
 Sexy little thing it is.
Happy 70's!

Travis and I are currently making up a dance together. We will absolutely share it with all of you as soon as we are finished.

Be excited, be very excited.

This girl is coming back!
And these dance moves are better than ever!

Look out Dance Fusion, they don't teach you this in ballet.
